Jack is finally home!
So, as most people know by now, I have brought home my little bundle of fur. I made sure to let him play to his heart’s content with his sister before I brought him home though. As of right now, that little bundle is now a tuckered out pup. He’s adorable and I already loves him to bits. My husband loves him too, and has made him quite the famous one thanks to his twitter. I’m worn out myself from all the last minute prep I did to actually driving out to get him. Here’s a video of him playing with his sister, Luna.

Of Puppies and Life Changes
So, Jack comes home tonight. I’m so incredibly excited about this, but I’m also a bit scared. The last time I had a puppy, I was 18 and had a jerk of a boyfriend who wouldn’t help me take care of her or her sister. Now I know my husband will help me take care of little Jack, but my experiences with raising a puppy were….less than stellar. The potty training was the hardest part. But this time I’m armed with baby gates and a crate, unlike with Shelby and Rouge who had the kitchen. My biggest fear is will I be a good owner? I’ve helped train other people’s dogs and even took care of Jack’s mother, but I haven’t raised a young pup in a very, very long time. Hell, the kittens were easy. Give them a box and they knew what to do by instinct.
Ah, well. This is going to be a learning experience for the both of us, I guess. Here’s to the changes in my life this little bundle of fur is going to bring.

I turn 28. Horray for me. That is all.

I am a Asian/European mix female in my late 20′s. I have been married for 5 years and counting. I own, or rather am owned by 2 spawns of hell…I mean cats. Both of which are still lucky to have homes after the crap they put me through. More on the joys of cats later.
I live in the wonderful state of Michigan. Known for both it’s beauty and being the shittiest state economically in the USA. Don’t believe me? Look it up. Michigan is the worst state to find a job in. BAR NONE. Not that out politicians care. They just gave themselves a raise while we get the joy of a tax hike. Joy. Anyhow, political rants being saved for another time. Now, because our economy is going down the proverbial drain, jobs are rather….limited. So, I find myself employed with the largest fast food chain in the world: McDonald’s. Yeah. I’m a shift manager at one of the more profitable stores in town. Which isn’t saying much since majority of our customer base was factory workers. We just lost 3 nearby factories last year. But it pays the bills and I get decent benefits with dental and paid vacation. Not something I want to do for the rest of my life, but for now, it’s work.
I am an avid gamer, yet I suck at most of them. My biggest attention grabber at the moment is Mass Effect 1 and 2. (My husband claims it is an obsession, but I think he’s insane.) I’ve also played World of Warcraft. Awesome game when I can actually play the game to it’s fullest extent. Which unfortunately, is never due to my even crappier work schedule. When I do play, I’m found on either my Tauren Hunter (my class of choice), Tauren Druid (fun as hell to play, but I still prefer the Hunter), or on occasion, my Human Death Knight. I’ve dabbled into Tabula Rasa recently, but so far that hasn’t found a way to hold my interest for very long. I once played Anarchy Online up to somewhere around level 40 or 50. Such a complicated game that I miss playing and would probably still be playing if it weren’t for the hellspawn of a game called Star Wars Galaxies not taken my attention. May what that game has become burn in the pits of hell. I’ve played Aion as a Gladiator and a little ways into Assassin. Neither character saw above level 15, however.
When I can get the chance, I absolutely LOVE horseback riding in the western saddle. I’m not very good at it as I’ve only been able to get out to my friend’s house a few times a month this past year, but I am getting better. I can canter most of the time and not bounce in my seat. Galloping still requires me to hold on to my ass for dear life…
